Abstract

We live in an era of global urbanization, which largely represents the expansion of existing cit- ies and the creation of new ones, but at the same time the reduction of rural settlements. The number of people living in cities is increasing day by day. If the organization of the city is good, the work is done well, it has a predisposition to become a smart city. In order for a city to become smart, it needs to keep up with the times, follow trends, the development of technology, infrastructure, have intelligent trans- port systems and the like. Interruption of vehicle movement for a period of time longer than 3 minutes constitutes parking. A parking space is a limited part of the road intended for parking vehicles. It can be part of a garage, parking lot or street. A parking lot is a space intended exclusively for parking vehicles.

Application of Artificial Intelligence Methods for the Prediction of Hazardous Failures

Original scientific paper

Abstract

The availability of real-time data on the state of railway facilities and the state-of-the art technologies for data collection and analysis allow transition to the fourth generation maintenance. It is based on the prediction of the facility functional safety and dependability and the risk-oriented facility management. The article describes an approach to assessing the risks of hazardous facility failures using the latest digital data processing methods. The implementation of this approach will help set maintenance objectives and contribute to the efficient use of resources and the reduction of railway facility managers’ expenditures.
