Publication ethics, disclosure policy and malpractice statement

Publication and authorship

  • All submitted articles are subject to strict peer-review process by at least two reviewers that are experts in the area of the particular paper.
  • The factors that are taken into account in review are relevance, soundness, significance, originality, readability and language, copyright infringement and plagiarism.
  • For published articles, information on relevant potential conflicts of interest will be made available to the public.
  • Svi pristigli članci podliježu strogoj recenziji od strane barem dva recenzenta koji su stručnjaci iz oblasti naučnog rada.
  • Faktori koji se uzimaju u obzir prilikom recenzije su relevantnost, ispravnost, značaj, originalnost, čitljivost i jezik, zloupotreba autorskih prava i plagijata.
  • Kod objavljenih članka, informacije o relevantnim potencijalnim sukobima interesa biće dostupne javnosti.

 

Authors’ responsibilities

  • Authors must certify that their manuscripts are their original work, has not previously been published elsewhere, and the manuscript is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • Authors must identify all sources used in the creation of their manuscript.
  • Authors wishing to include figures, tables or other materials that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright holder(s). Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.

 

Reviewers’ responsibilities

  • Reviewers are required to provide written, competent and unbiased feedback in a timely manner on the scholarly merits and the scientific value of the manuscript.
  • Reviews should be conducted objectively, with no personal criticism of the author. 
  • Reviewers must not have conflict of interest with respect to the research, the authors and/or the funding sources for the research. If such conflicts exist, the reviewers must report them to the Editor without delay.
  • Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the Editor without delay.
  • Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. reviewers must not use unpublished materials disclosed in submitted manuscripts without the express written consent of the authors. The information and ideas presented in submitted manuscripts shall be kept confidential and must not be used for personal gain.

  • Editors have complete responsibility and authority to reject/accept an article.
  • Editors are responsible for the contents and overall quality of the publication.
  • Editors should always consider the needs of the authors and the readers when attempting to improve the publication.
  • Editors should act if they suspect misconduct, whether a paper is published or unpublished, and make all attempts to persist in obtaining a resolution to the problem.

 

Peer Review Process

Based on the reviews, editorial board decides on paper publishing and informs the author within 3 months from paper receipt. Papers should be prepared in accordance with the Instructions for Authors for TTTP.
